board

Climb into a vehicle and take the controls, or a passenger seat.

Usage:
  board                your vehicle, if it's here
  board <vehicle>
  (embark, pilot and mount work too)

Your own vehicle: you take the controls. Someone else's, if it has a free
passenger seat (a passenger seat part, or a gunship's gunner station) and
you're in its pilot's or owner's party: you ride along. Passengers go where
it goes, see its HUD, and are shielded by its hull, but can't use the
controls unless the pilot shares them (copilot on). A gunship's first
passenger is its gunner, and fires its guns.

While you're piloting, the vehicle goes where you go, its guns are your
weapon, and hits land on its hull instead of you. Get out with disembark.
