also: put on

Put on clothing or armor you're carrying.

Usage:
  wear <item>

Each part of you takes one thing (head, eyes, face, torso, over, hands,
legs, feet, and an off-hand item like a shield); wearing something new
there takes off what was there. An off-hand item needs a free hand: it
puts away a two-handed weapon.
